Hans J Wegner for Johannes Hansen for Knoll Conference chair JH-713 circa 1957. Solid Oak frame with tapered round legs and leather back and seat upholstery, each chair stamped with makers mark to underside of each chair.
Condition report: The chairs have been all been refurbished with the frames treated and oiled and re polished, there is no weakness to the joints, they are all very solid and exactly as they should be with no breaks or mends, the leather seats have all been treated and nourished and re sprayed, you can clearly see that the seats are original with a wonderful aged patina, the seats have all been re sprayed black by a leather restorer.
Provenance: The Estate of Bernat Klein renowned textile designer , the chairs came directly from Bernat Klein's House a truly spectacular mid-century masterpiece which was designed in 1957 by Peter Womersley.
