Magnificent stately antique 19th Century long and low solid oak open bookcase dating to circa 1865, the beautifully grained solid oak top over five elegant fluted and carved pilasters, complete with eight adjustable shelves, the bookcase built in two interlocking sections allows access to most rooms, a fabulous looking item to store a very large library of books. A beautiful piece of furniture which definitely have a distinctive presence, as stated the bookcase comes in two manageable sections and simply locks together, a truly sublime statement piece that will grace any room. The bookcase has aged to perfection with a wonderful oak patina, truly the one of the nicest bookcase we have ever had.
