Antique Housekeepers Cupboard Cabinet Solid Ash Large Victorian, 19th Century
A large late 19th century ash Housekeepers cupboard circa 1890 the large overhanging cornice over a large pair of panelled doors, opening to reveal fitted interior with numerous shelves and four drawers, maker's mark and monogram to one door, over two smaller doors, opening to reveal a single shelf, all raised on a plinth base, the unite separates into three sections making moving easier but even so this item is extremely heavy and will require at least two very strong people to put into place.
Condition report: Offered in excellent condition with only minor age related wear, extremely well made and very solid, wonderful light patina to the outside of the piece and a slightly darker warmer interior, no signs of past or present woodworm, the item is extremely heavy and would be extremely difficult to take upstairs or downstairs. The key shown in the images are non working and for decorative purpose only, we can obtain working keys if the buyer required.
