Fabulous 1960's mid century Danish drinks bar also known as the ‘Bar in a Box’ designed by Erik Buch for Dyrlund matched with four solid teak barstools by Johannes Andersen and manufactured by J. Skaaning & Son & Brdr. Andersen Møbelfabrik Denmark 1960.
The quality and craftsmanship of the bar is typical of all high end Danish furniture, the clean lines and craftsmanship is secondary to none, the bar is offered in almost unused condition, the fact that this piece is over 60 years of age really is quite amazing, the bar comes complete with its original stainless steel ice bucket and red and white serving trays, it also has a lock and original working key, the bar has a set of caster wheels allowing it to be moved easily.
The Johannes Andersen barstools are made from solid teak frames with the original black vinyl seats and the original black metal protected foot rests. The stools have been fully restored and the bases have been carefully cleaned and waxed/polished, and are offered in perfect condition.
In todays world of Bijou living this set is ideal for any big city apartment or loft space, smart and compact, simply stunning design ready to go!
Please note: The dismantles by unscrewing the hinges that connect the two main compartments, which will help considerably with getting it through tight spaces.
