Splendid Antiques is delighted to offer this exceptional Hans J Wegner 'Papa Bear' chair Model AP19 circa 1959, otherwise known as a 'Bamsestol', designed in 1951, created by A.P Stolen in the late 1950s distributed by Povl Dinesen Denmark, full teak feet and paws, with later upholstery, interesting history, terrific example of the most iconic chair ever made.
Provenance: This was from the Ontario cottage of renowned Jazz musician Oscar Peterson.
