Extremely rare and authentic mid twentieth century Pierre Jeanneret Model: PJ-SI-29-B  ‘Easy’ outdoor slatted Armchair also known as “Fauteuil En Teck’  Chandigarh India Circa 1953-54,  made from solid teak, the seat and backrest both slatted for outdoor use, the raked and the slightly curved backrest, attached to the seat by two upright supports adjoined  to the bottom of the seat, signature Jeanneret ‘Compass’ style flat profiled inverted ‘V’ leg assembly, the legs united by two stretchers which also support the armrests, the chair marked with original identification markings PGH 61/3 denoting designation, the chair has been lightly and sympathetically restored in Chandigarh in accordance with original specification, as with all of our Pierre Jeanneret furniture this item will come with an extensive set of pre restoration images and a certificate of authenticity, reserve now.
