Antique Louis XV style marble topped mahogany breakfront commode chest of drawers, circa 1890, late 19th century French Parisian Napoleon III period, the black variegated shaped marble over three graduated drawers with brass drop ring pulls with centra; escutcheons, applied gilt metal mouldings with ormolu mounts to the sides all raised on shaped cabriole legs.


Condition report: Offered in good antique condition with age related wear, the marble top has been repaired and at some point had a crack but very difficult to see if you didn’t know, no evidence of past or present woodworm, comes with one non working key, wonderful patina.
