Beautiful French antique Marble topped burr walnut commode chest of drawers, France circa 1890, this chest dates to the late 19th century, the elegant white marble top over two short overhanging drawers above  three long drawers featuring brass escutcheons and turned knob handles, carved pilasters either side, the body of the chest raised on shaped and carved bun feet, ideal for the lounge, hallway, bathroom or bedroom, a sublime statement piece in every way, comes with one non working key.

Offered in good antique condition with age related wear, marks, chips and scratches, scuff mark to the second drawer down to the left side, the marble top is in tact with no cracks or repairs, all drawers open and close smoothly, no odours or smells, no evidence of past or present woodworm, comes with one  non working key with tassel, wonderful patina.
