Antique George III Oak Housekeepers Cupboard circa 1770
Magnificent 18th century George III Oak Housekeepers cupboard circa 1770, the ogee cornice above three fielded panel doors.the middle door with shelving and the other two with haning rail and hooks, flanked by quarter pilasters above the base section with arrangement of eight drawers with gilt brass swing handles and raised on shaped bracket feet, comes with six working keys with tassels, the other keys in the pictures are for show purposes only and do not work.
Condition report: age related wear with various knocks and marks, all doors and drawers open and close smoothly, no odours or smells to the drawers, the unit splits in two, only 6 keys work, the others are for decorative purposes only, no signs of past or present woodworm, original patina.
