Magnificent original Bertoia Bench for Knoll circa 1960s, the bench with eight teak slats raised on black coated legs, a true Bertoia classic.

This simple design was the first piece of furniture created by Harry Bertoia for Knoll. Although the bench does not have the signature wire grid of his seating collection, the welded wire base shows an early exploration of the material and foreshadows what was to follow. The bench also makes a great coffee table.

Condition: The bench is offered in excellent condition, with only minor age related wear, the wooden slats are in good condition with no damage and the legs are solid with no rust or loss of paint.
