Napoleon III French Escritoire Cabinet Kingwood and Rosewood France 1890


A late 19th Century French quarter veneered kingwood and rosewood cross banded Escritoire Cabinet circa 1890, with gilt metal mounts, the white Arabescato marble top with canted corners to the top over four cupboard doors set with Sevres style porcelain plaques, the two top doors opening to reveal two banks of five drawers flanking a recess.

Condition: Offered in good antique condition, fully restored and re polished, no odours or smess, all doors and drawers open and close with ease, keys are non working, no signs of past or present woodworm, wonderful patina.
