A magnificent large and imposing French Napoleon III heavily carved solid oak three door glazed bookcase circa 1870, the overhanging gadrooned cornice above acanthus frieze, over three bevelled glass doors with fan domed tops, shell and leaf carving, internal shelving raised on a platform base, comes with three keys with tassels.

Please note: This piece separates into four sections making moving easier.

Condition report: Offered in very good solid condition, age related wear, minor paint scuffs to some edges, the piece separates into four sections, comes with two working keys and one non working display key, adjustable shelving, no evidence of past or present woodworm wonderful patina.
